What level of English do I need?
This community is for INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED level English learners.
If you have a lower level, please try the community, and if it's too difficult, contact me directly!
What exactly am I getting in this community?
The purpose of this community is for students to escape the classroom English setting and learn real, authentic English language.
You will interact with other people around the world, join live sessions, and have a dedicated community space for learning. There will be no advertisements, pop-ups, or things to distract you from achieving your learning goals!
Do I have access to Michael in the community?
Absolutely! I will constantly be available in the community for questions, English doubts, fun challenges, games, and more!
I have a very busy schedule, how much time do I need to dedicate?
Here's what you can expect (based on your time).
30 mins per week - Keep in touch with the community, enjoy new posts or courses, slower learning pace.
45 mins per week - all of the above + make progress on courses and get feedback from Michael. Medium learning pace.
90 mins per week - all of the above + join the weekly Q&A to meet with other students. RAPID learning pace.
Content and materials are available whenever you can make time and there are replays available for all workshops and events. I recommend spending one hour a week as a minimum for learning and networking in the group.

Here's how I got here...
My background is in linguistics and philosophy. For more than 10 years I have been teaching English to students from more than 50 countries around the world, while living in a couple of them!
I feel completely blessed that I found this profession and have been able to have an impact on so many of my students' lives!
That has been my obsession ever since. Here's my mission:
